Sentimental Christmas gift for Grandma?

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a sentimental gift for my Grandma. We haven't always gotten along, but ever since I moved back home, we've formed quite a bond. I want to show her how much she means to me.

I've seen a lot of personalized plaques/shirts/blankets and all, but I was wondering if anyone had a different idea in mind.

Basically, if you wanted your gift to somehow say "You mean a lot to me and I'm really glad you're my grandmother", what would you look for?

In my experience, many older people don't want to accumulate more stuff, so consumable or experiential gifts are good choices. You could give her a food basket with some kind of meaning (e.g., a special food you know she likes, or something that reminds her of something the two of you did together). You could give her tickets to a show, or a class you could take together. If you really want to give her a personalized object, a couple more ideas are jewelry (I've seen ads for jewelry with different birthstones representing family members) or a framed family tree.
